TOBI is a project that aims to find a new way for authentication when performing online banking tasks.
After research and interviews a problem was identified. Elderly often do not do their banking online. Many find it scary and complicated. However, soon it is required to go online when performing banking related tasks. This leaves Elderly with a problem.
This is where TOBI comes in. Focussing on finding a new to authenticate yourself online, by making it easier, faster and just as secure.

Screenshots of the final prototype are visible above. An Android application is used to verify the user. We leverage the NFC and front facing camera features to scan ID cards and match them to a picture of the user.
